Back in August I posted pictures of my neat crate seats I made for my classroom from an idea on Pinterest. WELL - my pride bubble was POPPED! when I went back to school only to find out the Fire Marshall has outlawed ALL fabric material from the classrooms (unless it has the California tag). I was not only bummed but very disappointed plus my dear Dad was in the process of cutting me more boards. I toyed with painting the boards. As my husband and I were walking through Michaels I saw the adorable "splatter paint" Duct Tape. I decided to cover my boards with this decorative tape and they turned out cute!
In my classroom I am also doing the "No More Letter of the Week" in teaching the letters, sounds, etc. For this program you must dedicate a large portion of your space for an interactive board. My assistant and I decided to use Painters Tape to make our grid for our board. It turned out very nice.
